Myconauts and Layout Example
Howdy folks! I thought I'd share some more updates on the BOMM project with you. I trust all of you had great holidays! I think our lives will be headed back to some semblance of normalcy here in a handful of months, and that also heralds the Book of Monstrous Might release. We were shooting to get this thing out to everyone by the end of March, but it may be April. Despite having most of it turned over, there's still a lot of content editing to do, art to procure and we are still making changes to the layout.
As an example, see the above. We've added chapter tabs to the entire book to make navigating this beast even easier. It will be printed on glossy thick paper, and I think you are all going to not only love having this on your shelf, but love playing with it!
As for the survey, it's coming. I don't want to hit everyone up for the shipping right after Christmas, so I may wait another six weeks or so. Then we'll have even less of a chance of address changes and the most accurate shipping.
Thank you all again for being part of this journey. We are looking forward to getting this off the desktop computer and onto your desk. Cheers!

Dungeons-giving + Briarborn Race!

Hello everyone! I'm writing today to share an update on one of the latest races I've been working on and get you an update on the pledge manager, but all that can wait. I have something bigger to talk about.
I'm sure right now, you are gathering with some of your family, and missing others. The current pandemic has made it difficult to spend time with loved ones and friends. It's made it difficult to do business and impacted our daily lives, even how we play D&D. Yet I'm still thankful.
This has been an incredibly rough year for everyone, in many ways. But I can at least say that I still have my health and none of my family has been terribly impacted by all of this. I still get to play RPGs, albeit online through Roll20 and other online forums. It's not the same, but we are probably all still playing in some capacity.
I'm also truly thankful for this project. In full disclosure, I lost the equivalent to a well-paying salary when conventions were closed down. Total Party Kill Games travels the Midwest con circuit selling our books, dice and other cool stuff. Needless to say, that had quite an impact on my life, and the government wasn't willing to offer us any meaningful assistance. So we buckled down and worked on our next big book project, the Book of Monstrous Might. It was ambitious and I put the call out to numerous friends in the industry who all answered with delight, and all of you who backed this project helped grow this thing, but also saved the business. Understand that this was more than just a book to us. In these trying times it was a lifeline that will carry us into next year and onto our next projects.
So let me reiterate how thankful I truly am at all of your support. This book was a big deal to us, and is our most ambitious yet. It's taken a ton of time and effort thus far, and there's more to go. We have about 75% of the sections finished now, but there's much more to go. With all the stretch goals, we really added a ton of work to this. But that's okay, it's a pleasure to work on and when finished it will be a book we all put on our shelves with pride and pull out for use in every campaign.
Let me reiterate something about the pledge manager. Many have asked me about when that will be ready, and why I don't have it up yet. Please understand that this isn't Wal-mart. You aren't buying something off the shelf. This is an investment in the growth of a special product. We are fervently working to get the book wrapped up, but it's meticulous work. We also want to wait until the very end, so we can minimize the chances of address changes. I myself moved, and I've already had several people wanting to change their address. This will mitigate all of that. When it's just about ready I'll fire off the pledge manager and you'll all get it to the correct addresses. So please be patient, but I really do appreciate your passion for this!
So please have a wonderful holiday today, even if it's not with everyone in your family and perhaps the world seems a little dim right now. There is light at the end of the tunnel and know that each one of you have had a tremendous impact in my life this year.
BOMM Style Centaurs!

Hey everyone, happy Friday! Today I'm sharing some more content. As you may know, there are a few races herein that have been duplicated elsewhere in D&D's Unearthed Arcana, etc. In situations like that, we've taken the time and care to breathe fresh life into the race and give it our own twist.
For instance, our centaur are not based on the Greek mythology, but more of a Native American variant. Give them a spin and let us know what you think!
Half-Dwarf Artwork!

Holy smokes! How are you all doing? It's been a bit of a crazy week for me, but all's well that ends well. My Curse of Strahd game has been going fantastic and I continue to find ways to dial up the horror for my players, and they continue to surprise me as well! Comment and let me know what you are playing in right now!
Anyway, on the subject of the book, I got some more art turned over that I'd love to share with you. This is a half-dwarf... because why are they not more of a mainstream race? I mean, half-elves are in EVERY campaign. They are almost as bad as warforged in that respect! Oh, did I say that out loud? #ShotsFired #SorryNotSorry
But really, check out this magnificent art for our half-dwarf war chief! It was done by one of my colleagues who wanted to get a piece of art in the book, and boy he did not disappoint! Look at the lighting and details. You can get lost in that piece of art! Also, take note that this is no generic Scottish highlands dwarf. We went Pacific Islander to give him much more vibrancy and character. Sometime soon I'll have the half-dwarves available for your review as well. Enjoy guys!
